Sprouting Season features 14 pages of fun, fresh, and overall full-of-life vector illustrations dedicated to all aspects of forage-able foods. Maddie conducted thorough research into plant anatomy, history, and usage in order to create 12 individual collages representative of each plant. Each calendar is Riso printed using a 3 color blend of mint, fluorescent pink, and yellow. Opening and closing text is printed using a custom letterpress die. This calendar is an aesthetic and insightful celebration of the bountiful wild produce spread throughout Michigan's peninsulas.
